SENDING (TX) TROUBLE
- Dark pages sent - Check density setting.
- Noises - Try reinstalling or changing the cartridge/paper.
- Machine won't come on - Check the plug, the connection to the machine and that the power switch is on.
- Try something else in the outlet to see if there's power to the outlet.
- Lines across sent pages - clean scan glass if accessible
- Documents won't feed or feeds all the pages at once - Clean document feed rollers & pad with rag & water or light window cleaner. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.

RECEIVING (RX) TROUBLE
- Voided areas on received pages - Change the cartridge and try new paper. Check with sender that they aren't having a problem. All fax machines can make a copy. If their copy is not good it's their problem. If it's okay, it's a problem in your machine.
- Wrinkly pages received - Moisture in the paper is one of the main causes. Try changing the paper if this doesn't work call for service.
- Noises - Try reinstalling or changing the cartridge/paper.
- Phone won't answer - Make sure the phone line from the wall to the machine is in the proper plug, L or line, try replacing the phone cord, plug a regular phone in & see if it works in the wall outlet.
- Machine won't turn on - Check the plug, the connection to the machine and that the power switch is on. Try something else in the outlet to see if there's power at the outlet.
- Machine won't receive fax but does ring - Make sure the phone line is in the telephone line plug and the machine is set on Auto Receive and Receive rings is set to not more than two rings.
- Paper jams - Check the paper for bent edges or moisture in the paper. Improper paper causes paper jams.
